The delivery process is getting better. The postal and logistics services market digitisation started the last decade. However, the Coronavirus pandemic seriously accelerated this process. According to the UN, the number of online shoppers in the world increased by 7% due to COVID-19 (as well as the overall quantity of online orders and cross-border shipments)!

Logistics companies and retailers are facing new challenges: in particular, coping with large volumes of deliveries safely and on time.

All-in-One Platform

Meest International has developed the Meest World Logistics Platform, providing customers with full access to transportation systems, warehouses, carriers, customs, and more.

The platform connects the services and organisations across Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa and covers almost 100 delivery partners.

Specific Processes Operation

Meest World Logistics Platform is developed on modules performing certain tasks:

  • The Transport Management System (TMS) provides access to road transport management, showing typical routes, stops, hubs, and connected infrastructure.
  • The Customs Clearance (CC) service removes unnecessary issues in customs clearance. Here, you can collect information for customs clearance and taxes and even calculate customs fees online. The tool supports DDU and DDP customs clearance and EU IOSS processing in Estonia, Netherlands, Germany, etc.
  • The Warehouse Management System provides access to warehouses in the USA, China, Great Britain, Poland, Germany, Hungary, and Ukraine. This tool allows you to remotely configure the receipt, sorting, labelling, consolidation, transfer, and dispatch of parcels.
  • The Smart Logistics Module integrates the best available last-mile carriers automatically offered to the customer. The type of package, destination, and customer expectations are the factors impacting the choice of the best carrier. In total, the module integrates over 160,000 post offices, branches, and other logistics points around the world.
  • The Finance & Invoice Module manages accounts and finances and allows you to join trading platforms and other platforms like 17track, IdoSell, Metapack, and AfterShip.

To optimise last-mile delivery, the platform also has tools for real-time communication with parcel recipients. In addition, all delivery information is shown: status, post office, or branch selection and details, payment and tax information, and feedback.

Overall, the Meest World Logistics Platform is designed to meet the core and critical needs of logistics companies in a single environment, with a distinct workflow and interface. Ultimately, platform users get a valuable tool that optimises routine tasks, which allows them to focus on business development.
