MOVING YOUR BUSINESS TO POLAND

Your base in Poland. Deliveries to Ukraine unchanged.

Poland is a European Union market: predictable law, working banks and infrastructure that does not stop at night. Your Ukrainian customers still get their orders — Meest delivers them from a Polish warehouse.

Meest is responsible for logistics. Legal form, taxes and the timing of the move are decided with your own adviser.

0% duty*

and 0% VAT on parcels to a private person in Ukraine — up to €150

* The €150 threshold applies to goods in international parcels addressed to private individuals in Ukraine, counted jointly for parcels sent on one day to one recipient. Above it, 10% duty and 20% VAT are charged on the excess. As of August 2026 — Ukraine's parliament is working on removing this threshold. Business-to-business shipments follow general rules, with a possible zero duty rate for EU-origin goods (EU–Ukraine DCFTA, with documented origin). ** Approximate delivery time. It may vary depending on the pickup point, distance from the hub and conditions along the route.

What you gain by moving your base to Poland

Your sales stay where they are. What changes is where the goods leave from.

01

Continuity of delivery

Warehouse and team out of reach of air raids and power cuts. Orders go out every day, whatever happens on the ground.

02

A stable EU environment

Predictable law, banks, insurance and access to financing. Partners and marketplaces treat an EU company differently from one outside the Union.

03

An open door to Europe

From a warehouse in Poland you ship to more than Ukraine. The whole Union is one delivery away, with no customs clearance inside the single market.

Three areas that need to be in place

The order matters. Logistics comes last — without the first two there is nothing to ship.

01

Company registration and tax matters

Legal form, registration, accounting and VAT. You handle this with your own tax or legal adviser — it is their competence and their responsibility.

02

Warehouse and order handling

Space for stock in Poland, goods receipt, picking and packing. You can set this up yourself or use an external fulfilment operator.

03

Agreement with a logistics operator

Pickup from the warehouse, export, customs clearance, linehaul and delivery to the recipient in Ukraine, cash on delivery, tracking and returns. This is what Meest does.

What you get from Meest

A quote built around your shipments

You tell us how many parcels you send a month, what is in them and where they leave from. You get a real price and a delivery time — not a general price list.

One company for the whole route

We collect parcels from your warehouse in Poland and bring them to your customer's door in Ukraine. Customs, cash on delivery, tracking and returns are on us. You call one place.

Contacts to companies we know

We do one thing — we move parcels. But we work with warehouses, order-handling companies and offices that take care of company and tax matters. Tell us what you need and we will point you to the right people.
